I came back to The Crossings this past Sunday (December 26th)after a very long hiatus. A few weeks ago, my wife & I separated. This was devastating to me on so many levels.
After meeting with someone from the Pastoral team, for marital counseling, I realized that my life with Jesus, well, wasn’t quite right on a lot of levels. See, I am a former youth minister and somewhere between sin, selfishness and life- I lost myself and my relationship with God.
My wife and I at this time are still separated. However, during Sundays service, I actually “felt” God’s presence again. I had not heard His voice, or I should say, I did not listen to Him for so long.. It was a breath of fresh air.
If God still has time for the 1 lost sheep- who should know “how” to listen to the shepard, He is still seeking the lost and The Crossings is a great place to start.
I am blessed to be a part of such a great collection of like-minded individuals. It is great to be among God’s people once again; in both spirit and in truth.
